ASSOC PROF YEONG WAI YEE

Assoc/Prof Yeong received her BEng (1st class Hons) and PhD degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Prior to joining MAE in 2013, she has industrial experiences in technical and supervisory functions in research and development, manufacturing and quality systems.

The paper titled "Bioprinting of Collagen: Considerations, Potentials and Applications."

Why is it so difficult to print collagen-only bioink? In this article we dived deeper into the issue from a bottom-up approach to find out why bioprinting collagen has shown limited success. Key research areas that would enhance the functionality of bioprinted collagen are highlighted.
